Did y’all see my new color?
My growth after the wash and the right one is after my retwist. I hate that it shrink after its retwisted and dried
My deep cleaning process was quiet long!! For the second time I deep cleaned my Locs and let me tell you… They were pretty dirty!! I used the baking soda and acv rinse.. Now let me explain the photos you see (I will be posting individual photos as well): top photo: is acv, baking soda and water mixed into a bowl. The right photo is after the wash, the bottom is after my retwist with no clips or no gel used. And the left photo is my Locs today with visible lint! Many of you do not know I have this issue with lint. I came to realize last year that acv (and probably the baking soda) pulls the lint to surface I will spend the next couple of days picking it out since its on top!
**i love the rinse because it really cleaned my Locs but I DO NOT recommend using this on freshly dyed Locs! I could see the dye in the water after the first couple of rinses.. It also could’ve been the henna I used in my Locs a year or so ago! This is just my opinion and I am sure some have used this on their dyed Locs I just would not!
**if you choose to do this you WILL need to put moisture back in your hair!! The acv and baking soda strips the oils from your hair!! Stay tuned for my moisturizing method!
I’m convinced I have a little growth!! Lol. Closing out my 4 year loc anniversary. This weekend I will be maintaining so stay tuned #picstitch #growth #locs #locnation #dreadhead
4 years locβd and many to go!! Had to tame this new growth until I get home. My Locs feel amazing after they got watered last night!! πβΊπππππ#picstitch
